How often should my boiler be serviced?
Once a year is the standard recommendation. Most boiler manufacturers make an annual service by a Gas Safe registered engineer a condition of the warranty.
How long does a boiler service take?
Typically around an hour, depending on the boiler and what we find. If parts need cleaning or replacing we’ll explain before doing any extra work.
What’s included in a boiler service?
A visual inspection, flue and ventilation checks, operating pressure and gas rate checks, flue gas analysis, cleaning of key components where required, safety device checks, and a written service record.
Do you service all boiler makes?
We service most major domestic gas boiler brands. Let us know the make and model when you book and we’ll confirm.
Can you clean my magnetic filter at the same time?
Yes — we’ll clean your MagnaClean or other system filter during the service, and let you know if your system water looks like it would benefit from a power flush.
I’m a landlord — can you do the service and CP12 together?
Yes. We can combine an annual boiler service with the Landlord Gas Safety Record so it’s one visit for you or your tenant.
